FAQ # Frequently asked questions These are the questions we hear most often from homeowners and building owners around Cincinnati. ## Services How do I know if I need a repair or a full roof replacement? It depends on the age of the roof and how widespread the damage is. A few missing shingles or one leak around a vent or chimney can usually be repaired. If the shingles are curling, losing granules or leaking in several places, replacement often makes more sense. We inspect the roof and show you photos of what we find so you can decide. Do you handle storm damage and insurance claims? Yes. We repair and replace roofs and siding damaged by wind and hail, and we handle the insurance process for storm damage claims. We document the damage and work through the claim with you and your insurance company. How long does a typical asphalt shingle roof last here? Many asphalt shingle roofs in the Cincinnati area last somewhere around 20 to 30 years. The actual lifespan depends on the shingle line, attic ventilation and how the roof was installed. Freeze-thaw cycles in winter and summer storms are hard on older roofs. If yours is getting close to that range, it's worth having it inspected. What roofing materials do you install? We install asphalt shingle and metal roofs on homes. We also install and repair flat roofs on commercial buildings. We're a GAF Certified Plus residential contractor, a CertainTeed ShingleMaster, an Atlas Pro+ Platinum Select contractor and certified by Owens Corning. What kinds of siding do you install? We install and repair vinyl and fiber cement siding, and we replace aluminum siding. We install products from Mastic, James Hardie, CertainTeed and Royal Building Products. Yes. We install and repair flat roofs and handle commercial roofing as well as residential. See [commercial roofing](/services/commercial-roofing/) for details. Do you also do gutters, windows and doors? Yes. We install gutters, replace and install windows, and install doors. A lot of customers have us handle gutters at the same time as a new roof or siding, so everything is done in one project. ## Area Which towns do you serve? We're based at 3636 Muddy Creek Rd in Cincinnati. We work in Cincinnati, Covedale, West Price Hill, Price Hill, Delhi Township, Westwood, Cheviot and Bridgetown. We'll reach out to set a time to look at the property. ## Company What does your lifetime workmanship warranty cover? Our workmanship warranty covers problems caused by how we installed the job. If something fails because of our installation, we come back and make it right. This is separate from the manufacturer's warranty on the materials themselves. Are you licensed and insured? Yes, we're fully licensed and insured. We also hold a BBB A+ rating. Do you offer financing? Yes, we offer financing for roofs, siding, windows and gutters.
